According to the accompanying text (p. 212): Fig. 1: Velvet hat with piping; 'douillette' of Levantine with a high collar trimmed with satin. White gloves. Chamois-colored shoes. Fig. 2 and 3: Taffeta cap-hats. The print is part of the fashion magazine Journal des Dames et des Modes, published in Frankfurt as a copy of the French edition by Pierre de la Mésangère (1798-1848).
