A soldier, full-length, facing right, carrying a spear (lance) with his left hand above his left shoulder, his right hand extended forward (no. 28), ca. 1600. Plate 28 in the instructions for handling the spear: Corte onderwysinghe op de figuerliicke afbeeldinghe, belanghende t'recht ghebruyck, van al t'ghene een Soldaet int handelen vande Spies noodich is.
