A soldier, full-length, facing right, with a musket (a specific type of firearm) resting on his left shoulder (no. 34), ca. 1600. In his left hand, besides the stock of the musket, he holds a lit match and a fork (musket fork). This is (almost) the same position as the one shown in the second print of the series. Incorrectly numbered 2 in the bottom right, erased and corrected to 34. Plate 34 in the instructions for handling the musket: Shorte instruction for the figures, so much concerneth the right use of muskett.
