A soldier, full-length, to the right, carrying a spear (lance) horizontally on his right shoulder. His right hand around the spear (no. 26), ca. 1600. Originally misnumbered 24, this number corrected here to 26. Plate 26 in the instructions for handling the spear: Enseignement brief; et succint sur les portraitz figurez, touchant l'usage, de tout ce qu'un Soldat doibt faire au maniement de la Pique.
