A soldier, full-length, facing right, holding a musket (a specific type of firearm) with his left hand, the barrel pointing upward, before transferring the weapon to his right hand (no. 31), ca. 1600. In his left hand, besides the musket, a burning slow match; on his left wrist a fork (musket fork).
