About this work
Siege of the castle of Trarbach by the Allies from 14 November, captured on 18 December 1704. Depiction of the siege in a richly decorated ornamental frame with a cartouche at the top containing a map of the castle's location, crowned with the German eagle and flags. At the bottom a cartouche with the description of the battle in German. Sheet in the bound collection of plates published under the title: Repraesentatio belli ... Der Spanische Successions-Krieg [ca. 1720].
