About this work
Huy captured from the French by the Allies, 26 May 1705. Depiction of the siege in a richly decorated ornamental frame with a cartouche at the top containing a map of the siege. At the bottom a cartouche with the description of the battle in German, with chained prisoners on the left and right. Sheet in the bound collection of plates published under the title: Repraesentatio belli ... Der Spanische Successions-Krieg [ca. 1720].
