About this work

Siege and capture of the castle of Milan by the Allies, 12 March 1707. The central depiction of the siege in a richly decorated ornamental frame with a cartouche at the top containing a map of the castle. At the bottom a cartouche with the description of the events in German. Sheet in the bound collection of plates published under the title: Repraesentatio belli ... Der Spanische Successions-Krieg [ca. 1720].
