Conquest of Susa, 1707

Siege and capture of the small fortress of Susa in Piedmont by the Allied troops on behalf of King Charles III, 3 October 1707. The central depiction of the siege in a richly decorated ornamental frame with a cartouche at the top containing a map of the fortress. At the bottom a cartouche with the description of the events in German, on the left and right weapons with the monogram CR of Carolus Rex.
