About this work

Ball, or the World in Masquerade. Scene with a ballroom where a masked ball is being celebrated. On the sides and above the stage, eleven masks hang, including those of the devil, a fool, etc. Four-column caption in English and Dutch. Print in the bound fourth edition (304 B 12) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Windhandel or Actiehandel of 1720.
