About this work

Ball, or the World in Masquerade. Stage with a ballroom where a masked ball is being celebrated. On the sides and above the stage hang eleven masks, including those of the devil, a jester, etc. With an inscription in four columns in English and Dutch. Print in the bound first edition (304 B 11) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Windhandel or Actiehandel of 1720.
