About this work
Sheet with caricatures of small people in the wind trade with a reference in the captions to Vianen. Four separate plates numbered 5-8 printed on one sheet. Plate 5: a small person in a dressing gown with a large mug. Plate 6: a small person with a large wig, hat in hand. Plate 7: a small person as an officer with a large feathered hat and a playing card in hand. Plate 8: a small person with a hat reading a roll of paper. These sheets 5-8 have a verse in ten lines in the caption. Print in the bound first edition (304 B 11) of Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trading of 1720.
