About this work

Print within a decorative border printed upside down from a separate plate with Chinese little people, at the top a smoking little man with an opium pipe. Part of the second Dutch bound edition of 1720 (and related to the Windhandel in that year) of a series of caricatures of little people, known as Het Dwergentooneel, partly copied from an older German model.
