About this work

Allegory with a monument in honor of the voluntary defenders of the freedom of the Brabant fatherland, 1787. A rider and an infantryman shake hands before the monument. Minerva hangs a laurel wreath on the monument. With a five-line French inscription. Part of the bound collection of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787–1790.
