About this work

Both sides of a medal against the cruelties committed in Brabant; with the date 16 August 1789. On the obverse a wolf and a woman hold a child who is being hacked in two by a leopard. On the reverse the Brabantian lion frees itself from a net. The inscription refers to Governor-General Trauttmansdorff. Part of the bound collection of prints relating to the events of the Brabantian Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
