About this work
Both sides of a medal against the cruelties committed in Brabant; with the date August 16, 1789. On the obverse, a wolf and a woman hold a child that is being hacked in half by a leopard. On the reverse, the Brabant lion frees itself from a net. In the inscription, reference is made to Governor Trauttmansdorff. Part of a large group of prints relating to the events of the Brabant Revolution and the period 1787-1790.
