About this work
Man and woman in costumes from the Zeeland island of Schouwen. The woman brings a basket with butter to the market, the man a basket with eggs. Part of a bound edition of the series of twenty-four plates of Dutch costumes in the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, 1829.
