A fishwoman from Schokland sitting behind the spinning wheel spinning thread with which her husband can mend his fishing nets. Part of a bound edition of the series of twenty-four plates of Dutch costumes in the Kingdom of the Netherlands at the beginning of the nineteenth century by Maaskamp, 1829.
