About this work

Cap of machine-made tulle with a round cap body decorated with tambour work in the form of rosettes and leaves. The cap body is gathered onto a forehead strip decorated with simple motifs in needle punch (tulle needle punch). This strip is edged with two strips, which are edged with bobbin lace. Two cotton ribbons serve as chin straps.
