About this work

Children's cap of white net fabric. The crown is decorated with white work and fils tirés. The cap body consists of diagonal strips of embroidered net fabric. The forehead band is also of embroidered net fabric. This band is edged with strips of gathered Mechelen lace. Two ribbons serve as chin straps.
