About this work

Cap made of machine-made net. Two branches are embroidered and appliquéd on the crown between three embroidered wave motifs. The crown is partially gathered and set on the forehead band. A strip is attached to the forehead band, edged with a strip of Brussels lace. The cap has a sliding ribbon and two ribbons serving as chin straps.
