Jug with a spout in the form of a lion

The can is composed of the following parts: the foot, the body (in two halves), the neck, the handle, the hinge part, which replaces the thumb rest, the lid, the knob (cast), the spout (cast and chased). The round body stands on a high round foot, which widens at the bottom. The body has a belly with the same cross-section as the foot, and a high narrow neck, which flares slightly towards the top. On the convex lid, a profiled round knob is attached to the raised center. The edges of the neck and lid are not beveled inward. The spout has the shape of a lion. The handle, which swings outward and slightly inward, has a small one-toothed hinge at the top and ends at the bottom in a trefoil. Foot, body, neck, and lid are decorated with coarsely profiled ribs. The thumb rest is missing. Handle, thumb rest, and lid knob are riveted.
