About this work

Tin ewer. The foot supports a pear-shaped body with a spout. The top is closed with a slightly domed lid that can cover the spout. The shell-shaped thumb rest has a double-hinged joint. The bracket-shaped handle begins in the neck of the ewer and runs to the thickest point of the belly. From a sphere, the short, five-sided pouring spout emerges.
