About this work
Porcelain cup and saucer. Cup without handle. Painted in sepia with figures in a landscape. On the back of the cup a ground. Along the edges a twisting ribbon in gold and brown, around which a green leaf branch winds. The outer wall of the cup and the back of the saucer rim is decorated with two rows of staggered ribs. Gold borders along the foot and rim of the cup and along the saucer rim.
