About this work

The object consists of a part made of four riveted wrought iron bars, on which wood can be placed, to which the decoration of yellow copper, cast in three parts and chased, is attached. This consists of a base, a vase, and a knob. The base tapers at the bottom into two scrolls and stands on two legs. It has a hole at the top and two projections behind the legs, allowing it to be placed on the iron part. The profiled vase widens towards the top to a flat ball. The profiled knob has the shape of a flame.
