Fire iron decorated with the bust of a woman and a sphere

The objects each consist of a part made of four riveted wrought iron bars, on which wood can be placed, to which the decoration of yellow copper, cast in five parts and chased and engraved, is attached. This consists of a base, a reinforcement within the stem, a stem, a ball, and a knob. The base, whose profile sharply curves in and out, has two feet decorated with engraved rosettes and is decorated in the center with the bust of a woman. The profiled stem has a node. The ball is smooth. The richly profiled knob has, among other things, a node and a baluster. In 'a' the decorative parts are mounted separately. In 'b' a piece is broken off the base, the right foot has been renewed, and the soldered knob and stem may also have been renewed.
