About this work
Round, shallow tobacco warmer on three legs that run to the edge of the bowl and end in profiled knobs. Under the bowl, the legs are curved inwards. The warmer has a socket for a handle, which is missing. The warmer is marked: maker's mark = Amsterdam, maker = attributed to Pieter van Somerwil I, and an axe.
