About this work
Bible, published in Leiden by Jan Paets and Jan Bouwenszoon, year 1611, in a stamped calf-skin binding with silver mounts. In the medallion on the front is a family coat of arms, and on the back a biblical scene. The mounts on the corners and near the locks show symmetrically placed birds among vines.
