About this work

Church book in leather binding with gold filigree locks, containing: the Old Testament, the New Testament, the rhymed Psalms, the Hymns, Catechism. On one of the front leaves is pasted an engraving depicting a gable fragment; in the curved pediment: The Law of the Lord; between the two Ionic columns a rectangle with inscription: Biblia etc., etc. At the bottom on a leaflet: In Amsterdam by J. Brandt and Son, the heirs of the widow F.G. under the Linden in Haarlem by S. Enschede & Sons. Around the binding a gilded line; on the spine eight gilded lines.
