Shawl of black bobbin lace with rose bouquets and a meandering line in the lower point

Shawl of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. Triangular shape. Along the upper edge of the shawl, the continuous and repeating pattern consists of four cup flowers between five rounded triangular motifs on a straight line, alternated by five leaves on the same continuous line which here forms a small arch. Parallel below this line with arches runs a border of connected rings, followed by a flower garland with hanging bouquets of roses. The two slanted sides of the shawl have a similar border pattern, but with larger motifs, which furthermore become increasingly larger towards the point. In the central field stands a large asymmetrical bouquet. This bouquet is flanked towards both shawl points by three bouquets. Under the central bouquet stands yet another rose bouquet with upward branches, which encompass the central bouquet at the bottom with roses and forget-me-nots.
