About this work

The furniture is upholstered and rests on splayed legs, connected by an equally splayed H-shaped cross and a central front stretcher. The armrests are hollowed and end in a volute decorated with an acanthus leaf. The armrest supports are splayed. The low rectangular back stands on supports with a false splay. The upholstery of fraise red velvet d'Utrecht shows sunflower motifs.
