About this work
The object, cast and chased, consists of a round goblet-shaped vessel on a low round foot. This rises towards the center and is divided by four vertical ribs. At the top, the foot is narrower in cross-section than the horizontal rib, which belongs to the tall goblet-shaped part that widens slightly upwards. This ends at the top in an outwardly projecting rim, which has a more or less flat top.
