About this work

The four pointed oval, arched vessels (A, B, C, and D), which have slightly raised walls on the sides, each rest on an oval foot that tapers strongly upwards on a straight-walled base. On the body, pierced with alternating rosettes and rosettes, fits a hinged, arched lid crowned by a ribbed pinecone-shaped knob. Around the foot, around the upper rim of the body, over the high, curved handles, and around the lid run pearl strings. Blue glass inserts fit inside the pots.
