About this work
The twisted, pear-shaped pepper grinder has a profiled, narrowed foot and a loose, openwork lid. The body is surrounded at the top, where it flares slightly, by a profiled rim. It is engraved with flower branches descending from rocailles. The lid is crowned by a bird on a leafy twig. The pepper grinder belongs to a silver oil and vinegar set.
