About this work

Walnut chairs, resting on jointed legs connected by an H-shaped cross. The front legs are vase-shaped and jointed, additionally connected by a high carved stretcher. The trapezoidal seat frame is upholstered in modern green velvet. The rounded back frame supports are covered with rattan, flanked by free-standing, jointed and tapering columnar back posts. The back, carved in the center at the top, is crowned by broken S-shaped carving with a shell motif between them.
