About this work

Chair of walnut. The furniture has a seat upholstered with floral-patterned bronze-colored damask and a back covered with reed. It rests on baluster-shaped legs with ball feet. At the intersection of the swaying cross stands a vase. The high back has a profiled frame with a semi-circular, shaped upper rail, inwardly arched posts and a lower rail with scrolls and shell. Inside this frame acanthus leaves and shell motif. The frame is crowned by an acanthus leaf decoration.
