About this work

Partially veneered and painted satinwood chair, resting on fluted conical articulated front legs and rearward-curved back legs. The connection between the armrest supports and the slightly curved armrests is C-shaped. The back is slightly curved and in the center decorated with a vertical connection, on which painted medallions, freely based on 18th-century depictions. The seat is caned and fitted with loose embroidered cushions. See also: BK-16137-a and c to f.
