About this work
Fire screen resting on four console-shaped legs, arranged in two pairs at right angles to each other, ending in Janus heads. The lower rail is pierced and features a male head in the center, flanked by a lambrequin motif. The pierced upper rail bears a diamond motif in the center, with volutes and eagles on either side. The screen itself is surrounded by simple profiled carving.
