About this work
Chair upholstered in Utrecht velvet, featuring a pressed large sunflower motif. The S-shaped front legs end in a bird's claw with a ball and are extra profiled over the arch. The rear legs splay backwards. The seat rails and back rails and aprons are arched. The top rail of the upholstered back is crowned with a small floral motif. The upholstery is nailed. The hollow-curved back rests on fluted arched supports.
