About this work
Chair of walnut. The furniture is caned and rests on S-shaped front legs and jointed rear legs, connected by an H-shaped jointed cross. The front legs are topped with pierced acanthus leaves. The seat rails are decorated with needlework on the upper side and on the front and sides. The free-standing back stiles show joints and are crowned with vases. The top rail has two putti in the middle carrying a flower basket. The house fronts have floral motifs.
