About this work

Linen damask napkin with flowering and fruit-bearing stems. Central field: symmetrical, three-times repeated pattern, with grape cluster, pomegranate, strawberry, anemone, carnation, pear, plum, tulip, acorn, rose, and narcissus. Wide borders with symmetrical double acanthus leaf vases from which varied flower bouquets sprout. Corners: a rosette. Around: block border.
