Linen damask napkin with a large floral pattern. On a full-width pointed oval field, a symmetrical floral rosette with a grid filling, built up from a fruit, a sunflower, a pumpkin, and a crowning leaf rosette. The field is bordered by two interlaced bands, wrapped by a scalloped lace strip. The first set emerges from a palmette and closes above the central motif; the lower bands do not touch each other but are connected by a pomegranate. In the spandrels, varied leaf palmettes. A great variety of net fillings. Edges with flower pots and palmettes within a scalloped border. In the corners, a rosette. Marked in red cross-stitch with the letter S.
