About this work
Oval table veneered with maple, mahogany, and satinwood on an oak core. The furniture rests on four conical legs decorated at the top with three triangles, below which is a border. The apron features four compartments, above which is a dentil molding. The top bears a central oval motif with musical instruments; the central field is framed by two borders with a herringbone pattern. This motif is also applied around the edge of the top. At the front is a drawer with enamel plaques and copper handles.
