About this work

Small chest of polychromed poplar wood, with decorations in gilded stucco consisting of leafy vines, with a dragon flanked by shields with Latin inscriptions in the center of the front and on the lid. On the back, four standing fields with leafy vines, including inscriptions. The corner fittings formed by thin copper plates also show inscriptions. The lock and handles are of copper. The green lining inside is partially worn.
