About this work
Four fragments of wall covering painted in oil on linen. Above a dado of broken white with blue-grey frames, grey-blue vertical stripes are applied on a broken white ground, alternately decorated with scattered twigs with berries and a floral vine in red and blue. The seven fragments can be completed to form three bands.
