About this work

Hexagonal base of clay, belonging to 'Design for a flower stand'. The top and plinth are overhanging. The shaft is concave. In the top is a wooden piece and incisions in the clay dividing the top into six equal parts. One of these six equal parts is again divided in two. The shaft contains six casements with diagonal hatching. The underside is unfinished and partially hollow.
