About this work

Chair clock, with a chair of oak wood, painted dark green with coloured leaf and flower motifs. On a console at the bottom rests a chair with turned legs. Decorations on lead. The iron clock case has two doors with glass panes on the sides. On the copper dial are painted green leaf motifs and a landscape with houses. Further decorated gilded lead plates with shell, strapwork, vases, bird motifs and on the sides mermaids with foliage against a checkered background.
