Crucified Christ

The Christ figure, cast as a single piece, is hollow at the back. He holds his arms with open hands extended so that they lie in a straight line. His head hangs slightly to the right. The body and legs are almost perfectly straight. The hair lies in four bands towards the back and falls in two locks on both shoulders. The ribs are indicated with shallow grooves. The relatively long, more or less symmetrically pleated loincloth is draped in such a way that it leaves the knees free. The feet rest on a footstool (a suppedaneum). The hands and feet are pierced. The figure is worn. The mouth is barely visible, the beard not at all.
