About this work
Strip of natural-colored needle lace, point de France. Repetitive motif with two different candelabra motifs between which coral vines with palmette and rosette flowers, volutes and C-shapes. Hexagonal ground with picoted bars. Solid work made with festoon stitches, with cutouts. Motifs largely without relief, partly with cords. At the straight edge at the bottom hang hearts and oval-shaped little flowers with two leaves on picoted bars. The top is finished with a straight edge.
