Tapestry. Wool and silk. Schoonhoven or Amsterdam, c. 1650. Workshop of Pieter de Cracht, possibly after a design by Salomon or Jan de Bray. One of a set of five tapestries with the story of Orestes and Iphigenia. This scene shows Orestes' anger at King Aegisthos, who has murdered his father Agamemnon.
